After taking boys to kindergarden I had a glimpse of a king.
Bear, lynx, wolf. In 24h there was all three big predators of Estonia walking around in Lahemaa. With bear and lyx I was lucky and fast enough to see them myself after apaering in trap cam
Enjoy of sunday evening sauna. No hurry. But then an email with bear photo from trap cam. I was there in 7 minutes, bear was still there. Stood up, sniffed, walked around. 5 minutes of great "beartime". Second bear sighting this year.

Sunday evening. After sunset with Ave Kruusel we set out to listen owls. This night wasn't very good for owls. Only one ural owl. But on last place to visit we saw something better....we had 10 minutes with lynx.

Jillian and Martijn from Holland have come to Lahemaa to see Estonian wildlife wonders with Gran Treks. They have been here only for couple of days, but all ready we have seen capercaillie, hazel grouse, little spotted woodpecker, grey-headed woodpecker, ural owl, roe deers, beavers, foxes, raccoon dogs. We have been following lynx tracks just minutes after it passed trail cam. Its been a great time and they will be here for many many days....
